This is a simulated clay pigeon
shooting system, which can accommodate
five participants shooting simultaneously,
using a traditional 12 bore
shotgun, which has been modified
to contain electronic components
inside the barrel.
The participant shoots at a
clay pigeon which is fired from
a conventional clay trap, but
which has reflective tape around
its rim. On pulling the gun
trigger, the gun emits an infra
red beam, which, if it hits
the taps scores a hit via a
large, highly visible LCD scoreboard.
The shoot is highly competitive
and greatly enjoyed by male
and female guests alike. There
is no recoil from the gun when
the trigger is pulled.
